The objective of this medical discipline is to guide the diagnostic-therapeutic process and to correct the vital problem if present. Therefore, Emergency Medicine is developed both in the hospital setting (Hospital Emergency Departments) and in the pre-hospital setting (Primary Care Emergency Departments and Health Emergency Teams) with the intention of covering all possible clinical situations that Emergency Physicians may face on a daily basis.
Students of the Master's Degree in Emergency Medicine will be required to complete external internships in companies that have an agreement with the university. This will allow them to get closer to the working world and have a broader vision of their professional future.
Graduates in Medicine who wish to complete, with the Master in Emergency Medicine, an academic curriculum in order to obtain more preparation in their professional projection in the practice of medicine.

Graduated in veterinary medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2012. She has dedicated her working life mostly to clinical veterinary medicine although she has also been involved in the research field working with the pediatric cancer research team at Vall d'Hebron Hospital (Barcelona). She has recently completed a rotating internship at the Hospital Clínico Veterinario of the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Parallel to her working life she has also completed a Master in Veterinary Clinical Oncology and a Master in Biomedicine specializing in oncology. She is currently continuing her training in the area of Veterinary Clinical Pathology.
Veterinarian specialized in pathology of exotic animals, wildlife and zoo. Master in Research applied to hunting resources (IREC). Extensive international experience in clinical and post-mortem diagnosis. Externship USA (Phoenix Zoo, Dr Roberto Aguilar) with participation in several projects in Mexico and Arizona. Work experience: 2008 - 2012 Centro de Diagnostico de la Fauna Silvestre de Andalucia (CAD, Malaga) working with species such as Iberian Lynx, Imperial Eagle, Bearded Vulture. From 2013 to present I work in Al Ain Zoo, Abu Dhabi, as Laboratory manager and pathologist, managing the laboratory and performing clinical and post-mortem analysis of animals from the collection and samples from external collections.
